I started photography when I was 12. I wondered whether I could keep the ever-changing blue skies and blinking stars. Camera was my best friend ever since then. It followed me around snapping from the tiny little insects, to blossomed flowers, sceneries, people, of course the lovely blue skies and any other things around me. Dark room was the place I frequented most after class till dark.
With the deep influence by Taiwanese renowned photographer Juan and SHEN Chao-liang, I moved into documentary photography during my university life in Taiwan. Mainly in black & white photography on the people and all the happenings surrounding me. I started to learn about Philosophy of Photography which helps in justifying the meaning behind my work. The portrait I took for my father during his last month of bedridden touches and influences me the most for my future work.
Getting a little boring and numb with the life, there is nothing much to be taken as piece of work after I got back to Malaysia. Traveling is my best stimulant and inspiration for photography. There are a lot of great shots taken during my backpacking in India, Vietnam, Cambodia, China and Thailand. Quit my teaching job this year, I have put in my focus into photography and it mainly covers Wedding Journalism, Portrait and Food Photography.
